I suggest you to backup all your save and persistent files before you remove it all, in order to keep your gameplay process.
I'm talking about a way to prevent the save data from being shared and overwriting the save data of a previously existing file when you play with a copied or newly downloaded file on your PC.
I think there no way to prevent an overwriting from save your game process in a used save lot unless you would backup your own save files to other folder (which not located in your game folder) or use other save lots which available for you to save. (For me, I use so many save lots in order to try many possible was of choices)
FYI, the game will use save and persistent files from %appdata%/renpy/lustfuldesire... first. If there no save or persistent files in there, the game will use save and persistent files in your game folder. By the way, if you save your game process in a save slot which you already used, it will automatically overwrite the exist save files in both folders. That why I think you cannot prevent an overwriting from save your game process in a used save lot.
And one more thing, I'm sure about "share" that you talk about. Can you describe me more about this?
I was just referring to "share" as in sharing saved data copied to another folder, so don't worry about it. The only thing you can do is to proceed separately with the existing data and be careful with the saves.

I don't know if this could work, but you can copy the entire folder LustfulDesires-0.43.2-pc and renominate one LustfulDesires-0.43.2-pc-original and the other LustfulDesires-0.43.2-pc-variant. In this way instead of being careful with the saves, you generate two different sets of savings that don't interfere with each other.
Note that in this way you can't make different choices with Nameless and you're forced to repeate them in both playthough.

Hi, so I'm just starting the game again from update 0.40 to the new 0.43 in Mac. I don't understand, does downloading a whole new update mean I have to play it all over again from the start? The download didn't transfer the data from the previous 0.40 save files; I'm stuck with a blank slate again. The new 0.43 update downloaded separately, too, so I'm not sure what to do to "connect" my save files to the new update. Someone pls help, thank you!
If you go to your games folder and copy your saves from your 0.40 build and paste it in your 0.43's games folder, then you should be able to continue where you left off.

If you want to delete all your data on PC version. you need to delete all your save file in your game folder and also your game data at %appdata%/renpy/lustfuldesire...
But if you just need to choose a choice in Nameless event again. You need to have older version of 'persistent file', one before you choose a choice.
Persistent file is a file which contain all game data in there, a dialogue you have been read, a choice you chosen, and yes, persistent file contain a choice you chosen in Nameless event too.
On PC version, persistent file will be in 2 folders, one in save folder which locate in game folder and another one in %appdata%/renpy/lustfuldesire .. In PC version you can replace older persistent file to current persistent file in both folder to remove a choice you have been choose. But you may have some risk with this because persistent file is very important file for a game, it may cause some bugs if you replace or remove it so please consider it carefully.
BTW if you don't have an older one, I can give you mine. If you want.
You can get 2 hearts for Roushk and Priestess by doing bonding event with them (go talk to Priestess and choose 'Bonding'). Repeat it in every options there (you can doing this event almost every day, at a certain time.) until the forth option appear to be selected.
Since the mc can be into piss, especially Barrel's piss in the morning when you let his drunk ass stay at your home.. I hope that Hyao will add an extended scene where you catch both him and Bald Bandit at their camp relieving themselves and you help them out or something...

First, you need to rescue Ste from Vicoria's cave (Ste is the 2nd prisoner after you rescued Korg from her). And then he will tell you where farmstead is.
Second, check at Forest path (The way to a bridge where the troll is) and a new option 'look for the cave' will appear to be selected. After that you will unlock Plains cave. You just need to enter a cave and explore the underground, then there will be Farmstead Icon on a map (underground).
At this time you can only go to Farmstead by underground way. But after you finished Country road event. The new on ground way would available for you to use it.

In the encounter with Nameless after the Lizard Treasure Quest where you can choose what you think of him does that choice have any impact besides what you get from him afterwards? I have been pretty against him this whole time but I do want that cock ring or collar but if its a semi important choice I can look past them.
I'm not sure that decision there will affect to the future events or something like that, maybe an item we got will be a requirement for some Nameless's events.
But in this current update (0.43) there still no effect from that decision. I think if that decision will strongly affect to some events in the future updates, Hyao must warn us, just like when we must choose to serve him or not. Sometime I think it just an event which give us some item like Halloween Event.
For now we don't know how huge those consequenses are if we decide to feel aroused by him and serve him or not, then again Hyao added the Plains of Death event with also the intention if some people lowkey regretted their choice to serve him and can somewhat change their 'relationship' status.
If you choose to serve him like I did then you still have the chance to refuse his sex offer, he will then look at you a bit different..
Provided that is all a WIP, it's a minor choice that shouldn't have great consequences like the other nameless choices.

You can do the Hunting contest once a week. To make Xeroth win you can suck him off and use aphrodisiac the second time you meet Groushk (if you meet him a third time you can finally see him aroused). This should be the simpler way to make him win.

In Bareshade upgrade event, you cannot do all aspect at the same time. If you already finished Fair aspect upgrade, please wait several days (around 5 days maybe) and the next upgrade event will be added. Just talk to Bernard like the first time you start it.

My first time playing the game, given that MC remained neutral, during the plains of death encounter with Nameless, MC refused to change his mind.
Afterwards, since I discovered you can have sex with him, I reloaded. MC accepted his offer to serve him, and than changed his mind once more. Since MC canged his mind multiple times, Nameless loses interest in having MC's services, but still offer MC to have sex with him.

Right now there is no obvious downside, but we currently don't know how it'll affect the rest of the Nameless storyline.
As it is stated in the past comments, backing up your persistent file is the only way to prevent Nameless from detecting your save&load.
Borrowing from Itsara's comment In PC version, persistent file will be in 2 folder one in save folder which is located in game folder and another one in %appdata%>renpy>lustfuldesire... make sure you haven't decide the choice of true desire, or it will be detected. And in case you want to see other choices, replace the current persistent file with the backup one, save files after the choice might also need to be removed temporarily.
You don't need to serve him at the first time you meet him. For me, at first I should to keep everyone safe. But during Nameless event at Plain of death. He will invade our mind again and ask us if we are gonna change our mind. If we choose to serving him right there. He will give us a reward (sex scene). Otherwise, he will leave.
ah so that's how it goes if you didn't serve him right away at the 4th nightmare..
In my case after he warned us, he asked if we truly wanted it because we were so straightforward about serving him, this was one his rewards. Then you have 3 chances to not have sex with him. if you refuse him during the first two he will get annoyed, during the third option he'll let you stop because there will be a nex time anyway.

Lenny and Edmund aren't new, you already met them during the Country Road story. I alsi thought it was Ste but it's not him... the very first time when you walk with him to the gloryhole is with him... I think it is.

Amazing Game honestly but just 1 thing I think could be improved. Just please once you have the Glow Amulet let it allow you to explore the Caves even if you dont have it equiped because constantly switching and changing between the Lizard one and the Glow one to just explore a cave is a bit unnecessary.

For 3), You can give him a fishing rod, knife, and slingshot. I think slingshot is the best item to give, judging from the dialogue.
For 5), I'm not sure either, since I wear it for 14+ days and it does not trigger any special event.

Hi, so I'm just starting the game again from update 0.40 to the new 0.43 in Mac. I don't understand, does downloading a whole new update mean I have to play it all over again from the start? The download didn't transfer the data from the previous 0.40 save files; I'm stuck with a blank slate again. The new 0.43 update downloaded separately, too, so I'm not sure what to do to "connect" my save files to the new update. Someone pls help, thank you!
If you go to your games folder and copy your saves from your 0.40 build and paste it in your 0.43's games folder, then you should be able to continue where you left off.

If you want to delete all your data on PC version. you need to delete all your save file in your game folder and also your game data at %appdata%/renpy/lustfuldesire...
But if you just need to choose a choice in Nameless event again. You need to have older version of 'persistent file', one before you choose a choice.
Persistent file is a file which contain all game data in there, a dialogue you have been read, a choice you chosen, and yes, persistent file contain a choice you chosen in Nameless event too.
On PC version, persistent file will be in 2 folders, one in save folder which locate in game folder and another one in %appdata%/renpy/lustfuldesire .. In PC version you can replace older persistent file to current persistent file in both folder to remove a choice you have been choose. But you may have some risk with this because persistent file is very important file for a game, it may cause some bugs if you replace or remove it so please consider it carefully.
BTW if you don't have an older one, I can give you mine. If you want.
You can get 2 hearts for Roushk and Priestess by doing bonding event with them (go talk to Priestess and choose 'Bonding'). Repeat it in every options there (you can doing this event almost every day, at a certain time.) until the forth option appear to be selected.

how do you get farmstead?
First, you need to rescue Ste from Vicoria's cave (Ste is the 2nd prisoner after you rescued Korg from her). And then he will tell you where farmstead is.
Second, check at Forest path (The way to a bridge where the troll is) and a new option 'look for the cave' will appear to be selected. After that you will unlock Plains cave. You just need to enter a cave and explore the underground, then there will be Farmstead Icon on a map (underground).
At this time you can only go to Farmstead by underground way. But after you finished Country road event. The new on ground way would available for you to use it.

In the encounter with Nameless after the Lizard Treasure Quest where you can choose what you think of him does that choice have any impact besides what you get from him afterwards?
I have been pretty against him this whole time but I do want that cock ring or collar but if its a semi important choice I can look past them.
I'm not sure that decision there will affect to the future events or something like that, maybe an item we got will be a requirement for some Nameless's events.
But in this current update (0.43) there still no effect from that decision. I think if that decision will strongly affect to some events in the future updates, Hyao must warn us, just like when we must choose to serve him or not. Sometime I think it just an event which give us some item like Halloween Event.
For now we don't know how huge those consequenses are if we decide to feel aroused by him and serve him or not, then again Hyao added the Plains of Death event with also the intention if some people lowkey regretted their choice to serve him and can somewhat change their 'relationship' status.
If you choose to serve him like I did then you still have the chance to refuse his sex offer, he will then look at you a bit different..
Provided that is all a WIP, it's a minor choice that shouldn't have great consequences like the other nameless choices.
Personally, I've chosen the cockring, since the bracelet has the worst stat and I have th neck slot occupied with the amulet of strong mind.
I think you're supposed to choose the bracelet if you want to attack him, the collar if you want to defend from him and the cockring if you want to fuck him.
I don't know if some effects of the bracelet or the collar are already implemented, but if you have sex with him while wearing the cockring, Nameless comments something positive about you, like that he's glad you're wearing his gift. My hypotesis is that Nameless has an hidden like sistem and having sex wearing the cockring rewards you more likes than having sex without it.
On that note I'm not suggesting to have sex with Nameless, but if you're having sex with him I think is better to equip his cockring (I don't know if wearing his others gifts does something in any occasion).

Orgram is the head chief orc (you probably already have met). 'Captive' can reference to the prisoners Vicoria has in her hideout. The first one is Korg and the second is Ste.

You can do the Hunting contest once a week. To make Xeroth win you can suck him off and use aphrodisiac the second time you meet Groushk (if you meet him a third time you can finally see him aroused). This should be the simpler way to make him win.

In Bareshade upgrade event, you cannot do all aspect at the same time. If you already finished Fair aspect upgrade, please wait several days (around 5 days maybe) and the next upgrade event will be added. Just talk to Bernard like the first time you start it.

Right now there is no obvious downside, but we currently don't know how it'll affect the rest of the Nameless storyline.
As it is stated in the past comments, backing up your persistent file is the only way to prevent Nameless from detecting your save&load.

make sure you haven't decide the choice of true desire, or it will be detected.
And in case you want to see other choices, replace the current persistent file with the backup one, save files after the choice might also need to be removed temporarily.

You don't need to serve him at the first time you meet him. For me, at first I should to keep everyone safe. But during Nameless event at Plain of death. He will invade our mind again and ask us if we are gonna change our mind. If we choose to serving him right there. He will give us a reward (sex scene). Otherwise, he will leave.
ah so that's how it goes if you didn't serve him right away at the 4th nightmare..
In my case after he warned us, he asked if we truly wanted it because we were so straightforward about serving him, this was one his rewards. Then you have 3 chances to not have sex with him. if you refuse him during the first two he will get annoyed, during the third option he'll let you stop because there will be a nex time anyway.
Edit: I decided to be more precise and add about the part that he rewards us for being straightforward with him about serving him..... but you already mentioned that previously.. my bad.
